It looks like r1754 tested without problems. I can probably close Ticket #61 now that I've updated the CHANGELOG.

Inital work on Ticket #61 (universal metadata reader). Also, fixed a bug in the lsl.common.metabundle.getASPConfiguration() function that caused it to fail if either the beginning or ending ASP MIB was missing from the tarball.
